After I upgraded to Windows 10, my drive had a 450Mb Recovery partition. The Recovery partition is blocking my attempts to expand the System partition. How can I move the Recovery partition to another hard drive?

The recovery partition usually contains the important OS files and data that can restore the system to its original state in case of any issues or data loss. It is distinct from the primary operating system partition and is normally established by the computer manufacturer. However, users don't need this partition when their OS works fine, and this partition may prevent you from extending the partition.
Thus, you can transfer this recovery partition to a new drive. To help you do that, I will introduce a versatile tool - EaseUS Partition Master, which can smoothly copy your recovery partition to another external hard drive on Windows 10 with its "Clone Partition" feature. Below is a how-to-do guide:
Note: Back up the whole recovery partition before cloning since it's the most effective way to prevent data loss.
Step 1. Set up EaseUS Partition Master and enter the "Clone" tab from the main menu. Choose "Clone Partition" and hit "Next."
Step 2. Choose your recovery partition and click "Next."
Step 3. Click "Start" and wait patiently for the clone to complete.
Now, you have turned the recovered partition into the unallocated space, and then you can expand your system partition size with EaseUS Partition Master. Refer to the comprehensive guide in this post:
