Does Windows 10 Have Imaging Software?

Hi, I am using a Windows 10 PC and want to create an image of it in case of hard drive troubles, such as system crashes. But does Windows 10 come with built-in imaging software? If not, what can I use to do so? Thanks in advance!

Yes, Windows 10 comes with built-in imaging software called Backup and Restore (Windows 7). It can help create a system image or backup files and folders and restore your system or files and folders in case of failure.

An imaging program is a type of backup tool. You can apply it to create backups of your PC, including the operating system, personal information, files, etc. Making a backup image of your hard drive with imaging software is also possible and advantageous for you.

Additionally, imaging software can support image restoration to the same or a different disc and help prevent data loss or harm brought on by ransomware, system failure, or system crashes.

It is worth noting that the Backup and Restore tool is not fully ideal as you might expect. It cannot offer advanced options like cloud backup or multipath storage. Therefore, it would be best to use a professional backup program like EaseUS Todo Backup.

EaseUS Todo Backup, in essence, a backup and recovery tool, is a practical imaging software for Windows 11/10/8/7. It can help you image a hard drive and even your computer. In addition, it can help you back up your system, files, partitions, and computer apps and even back up multiple hard drives simultaneously.

Windows 10 has an in-built imaging tool called Backup and Restore, which can help you image your drives. But using professional backup software, such as EaseUS Todo Backup, is your best choice since it offers more practical functions and fewer limitations.
