How to Clone Old 2.5 SATA Onto New Laptop With M.2 SSD

Hello everyone, as you can see, I don't know much about modern computing, so please bear with me as I am sure to get some of the terms wrong. I appreciate the experienced people here and hope you can assist me in determining what I want to accomplish with my new laptop. BLUF: My old laptop has a 2.5‘ SATA SSD. I recently purchased a new laptop that has an M2 SSD and an empty 2.5‘ SATA slot. Both SSDs have a capacity of 250 GB. I despise change and want to keep my existing settings, user profiles, and software--basically, I want to duplicate the complete experience of my old laptop on my new laptop. Is this feasible? How do I go about doing it?

  • Start EaseUS Disk Copy and choose "Disk Mode" from the list of available options.
  • As the source disk, select the old 2.5" SATA drive.
  • As the destination disk, select the new M.2 SSD.
