How to Move Recovery Partition to Extend C Drive

I'd like to use Disk Management to expand my C drive with the unallocated space, but a Recovery partition is in the way. Is there any way to swap the Recovery partition with the unallocated space to make the C drive adjacent to the free space? Or can I remove the Recovery partition? But will there be any consequences? Thanks in advance!

Because of certain limitations, Windows does not support moving a partition on disks. Therefore, the only option is to take measures beyond Disk Management - using a third-party disk and partition manager like EaseUS Partition Master Professional.

Windows 11/10/8/7100% Secure

This tool breaks the limits of Windows, allowing you to move partitions to anywhere on the disk. With this powerful feature, you can surely extend the C drive without any trouble.

Here's how:

Step 1. Open EaseUS Partition Master and select your target drive.

Step 2. Choose "Resize/Move," and then you can move the partition or drag the dot to extend the C drive directly.

Step 3. Click "OK" and start the process.

However, if you are considering removing the Recovery partition, there are some things you should know.

The recovery partition is used for storing significant system files related to the Windows OS. It allows you to restore to its factory settings and reinstall the operating system when your computer encounters serious issues. So, it's not recommended to remove the Recovery partition from your PC.
