SD Card Is Blank or Has Unsupported File System? How to Fix

When I insert a memory card into my Note 2, I receive the notice 'SD card blank or has an unsupported file system'. The SD card functions properly with my Laptop and other devices. I tried using different memory cards with my Note 2 tablet, but the issue persists! I require assistance. Any suggestions?

How to restore data from blank and unsupported SD cards:

Step 1. Select the SD card to scan

Step 2. Check for scan results

Step 3. Recover SD card data

To be more specific,

  • Download and install EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard on your Windows PC.
  • Use the proper way to connect your SanDisk/Lexar/Transcend SD card to the computer.
  • Open EaseUS SD card recovery software and choose SD Card Recovery on the left panel. All connected drives will display here. Select your SD card and click 'Scan'.
  • Wait for the scanning process to complete.
  • Specify one or several file types to show up, like Pictures, Videos, Documents, and so on.
  • Click "Preview" to check if they are the wanted files.
  • Preview the recovered files and click "Recover".
  • Choose a different location to save the recovered files instead of the original SD card.

If it still cannot be detected by the computer, some internal errors, like file system corruptions, mightt result in a blank SD card. Then, you can run the chkdsk command to get the unsupported SD card fixed.

Note that the CHKDSK command will remove all data from the SD card. So ensure you recover all files with reliable EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard first.

  • In the same way, open Windows Command Prompt.
  • Type: chkdsk g: /f (f represents your sd card drive letter) and hit Enter

Use EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover deleted or lost files easily and quickly.
