My drive has 500GB, Partition Manager says it is 400GB, and Windows Explorer only reports 250 GB. I have three drives for storage, and all 3 have the same problem. I used Command Prompt to fix the problem, but it is unavailable. Everything is fine with the check disks. I can't extend these disks, and I don't understand why.

There are many reasons about Windows Explorer shows the wrong disk size. The following reasons can cause incorrect disk space or prevent you from expanding it:
If you set hard quotas on a volume, it will show the quota size in explorer, but if you open its properties and go to Quotas, it will not show as having quotas enabled.
Follow the path to check the quota: File Services > Share and Storage Management > File Server Resource Manager > Quota Management > Quotas.
If the quota is OK, you can use a professional space analyzer tool to see what takes up disk space and find why Windows explorer shows the wrong disk size.
EaseUS Partition Master Free is an excellent space analyzer. It can help you display the correct percentage of space occupied and find hidden files or duplicate files.
It has a simple interface that makes it easy to fix "Windows Explorer shows Wrong Disk Size" errors, even if you are a novice.
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master and download "Space Analyzer" from Discovery.
Step 2. Select the desired target drive and click "Analyze."
Step 3. Click Folder/File to view more information in the file.
